The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care
(AAAHC) is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1979 to promote a voluntary, peer-based, consultative and educational survey process to advance patient care. AAAHC serves as an advocate for the provision of high quality health care through the development of nationally recognized standards. A certificate of accreditation is awarded to organizations that are found to be in compliance with AAAHC Standards. It is also recognized as the premier symbol of quality by third party payers, medical organizations, liability insurance companies, and state and federal agencies.
The NASC is proud to be a Medicare deemed status facility through AAAHC.
